(AdMob SDK)

(Firebase Hosting)

Privacy Policy

App: Sneaky Swat (안 볼 때 툭!) · Developer: Hyeonsu Jeong · Effective: 2026-09-28

This policy explains how we, the developer of the mobile game Sneaky Swat ("the app"), handle personal data in the app and on this website.

In short

  • If you do not join the ranking, we do not collect or store personal data while you play, and scores and settings stay on your device. Joining is optional and uses anonymous authentication and ranking records.
  • Ads are served by Google AdMob. Google collects device identifiers, your IP address and similar data (sections 3 and 5).
  • If you e-mail us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them one year after we reply.
  • You can turn off personalised ads at any time in your device settings (section 5).

1. Who we are (controller)

Controller: Hyeonsu Jeong, individual developer, Republic of Korea.
Privacy contact: tuche24@naver.com

2. Data we collect ourselves

  • Support e-mails: if you write to us, we receive your e-mail address, your name if your mail shows it, your message and anything you include (for example device model, OS version or screenshots). We use it only to answer you and keep a record of the request.
  • Game data: if you do not join the ranking, your best score, tutorial progress and mute setting are stored only on your device and are not sent to us or anyone else.

Joining the ranking uses Firebase anonymous authentication and sends the ranking records described below to Firebase.

Ranking (if you join)

To display the ranking, we process your Firebase anonymous authentication user ID (UID), the numbers of the automatically selected name words, the name you type yourself (if you set one), scores by mode, round duration, record time, app version and platform. Your name, score and rank are public to all users. The public ranking data also contains the anonymous UID, round duration, record time, app version and platform. Please do not put personal information such as your real name or contact details in a name you type.

If you report another player's name, we store the anonymous UIDs of the reporter and the reported player, the report time and the ranking board. We use these records only to act on inappropriate names and never publish them. A name reported by several players is changed back to an automatic name, and that player can then use automatic names only.

Google Firebase processes and stores this data for us. Firestore records are stored in the Seoul region; Firebase Authentication uses Google's global service. After daily and weekly periods end, the app's automatic cleanup and the operator's periodic cleanup delete their records. All-time records remain until you choose “Leave ranking” in the app, which deletes your records and anonymous authentication account.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows banner and interstitial ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. When the app starts and when an ad is requested or shown, the SDK automatically collects the following and sends it to Google over an encrypted connection (TLS):

  • device and advertising identifiers: the Android Advertising ID and app set ID; on iOS, the IDFA only if you allow tracking, and app- or developer-scoped device identifiers;
  • your IP address, which is used to estimate your approximate location;
  • device information such as model, OS version, language and screen size;
  • app interactions such as app launches, taps, ad impressions, clicks and video views, and the ads you have seen;
  • diagnostics such as app launch time, hang rate, energy use and crash logs.

Google uses this data to show ads (personalised ads only where allowed), measure ads, run analytics and prevent fraud. The app sends this data only to Google. When ads are auctioned, Google may share limited bid data (such as device information, approximate location and, where permitted, the advertising identifier) with advertisers and ad technology providers under its own policies. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, these providers are listed in Google's consent message. We only see aggregated reports, such as impressions and earnings, that do not identify you. See the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

4. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

  • Ads: your consent, collected through Google's consent message on first launch, for storing or accessing information on your device and for personalised ads. If you do not consent, Google may still serve non-personalised or limited ads on the legal bases described in its own policies.
  • Support e-mails: our legitimate interest in answering your request.
  • Google acts as an independent controller for the data its SDK collects (Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA and Switzerland, Google LLC elsewhere).

5. Your choices and how to opt out

  • EEA, UK, Switzerland and some US states: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message appears on first launch. There, and in US states where the law requires it, you can change your choice, withdraw consent or opt out at any time from Ad privacy options on the title screen. This entry appears only where it applies. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
  • iPhone and iPad: the app asks once, after the result screen of your first game. If you do not allow tracking, ads are served without the advertising identifier (IDFA). You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • Android: Settings > Google > Ads (on some devices Settings > Google > All services > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads) > Delete advertising ID.
  • Google account: manage personalised ads in My Ad Center.

The game works the same whatever you choose; ads may just be less relevant.

6. International transfers

We are based in the Republic of Korea, which the European Commission and the United Kingdom recognise as providing adequate protection. Google processes ad data and this website's access logs in the United States and other countries. Firebase Authentication processes anonymous ranking authentication information through Google's global service; Firestore ranking records are stored in Seoul. Google states that it relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) and on Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

Our e-mail provider, NAVER Corp., stores support e-mails in the Republic of Korea.

7. Retention and deletion

  • Support e-mails: deleted one year after we reply, unless we must keep them longer for a legal claim.
  • Game data: local game data stays on your device until you delete the app or its data. Ranking records are retained and deleted as described in the ranking section. Name reports and automatic-name restrictions are kept for at most one year; your own reports are deleted when you choose “Leave ranking”.
  • Ad data: kept by Google under its retention policy. Google says it anonymises advertising data in server logs by removing part of the IP address after 9 months and cookie information after 18 months.

To delete ranking records and the anonymous account, choose “Leave ranking” in the app. To delete local data, uninstall the app; you can also delete your advertising ID (section 5), ask us to delete support e-mails, or contact Google.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, ask for a copy (portability), and withdraw consent at any time. For the support e-mails we hold, write to tuche24@naver.com; we will reply within 10 days. We cannot identify you from ad data, so for ad data use the choices in section 5 or contact Google directly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. US state privacy rights

Some US state laws treat giving device identifiers to an ad network for targeted ads as "selling" or "sharing" personal information, or as "targeted advertising". You can opt out through Ad privacy options in the app where it is shown, by deleting your advertising ID on Android, or by not allowing tracking on iOS. You can also ask us about, or ask us to delete, the support e-mails we hold. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

10. Children

The app is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, or under the minimum age in your country (14 in Korea). Ads are requested with the General maximum ad content rating. If you are a parent and believe your child's data has been processed, contact us. We will delete any support e-mails we hold without delay. We cannot identify or delete ad data held by Google, so we will help you delete the advertising ID on the device (or turn off tracking on iOS, section 5) and contact Google through its privacy form.

11. Security

All data the ad SDK sends and all traffic to this website is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS). If you join the ranking, ranking records are stored in Firebase as described above. Only the developer can open the support mailbox, which is protected with two-step verification. We only use an ad partner (Google) that provides the same or a higher level of protection than this policy, and Google protects the data under its advertising and data protection terms.

12. This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or ads. Our host, Google Firebase Hosting, may process access logs (IP address, browser details, time of access) for security and to deliver the pages.

13. Changes to this policy

This policy takes effect on 2026-09-28. We will post changes on this page at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for significant changes). Change history: first published on 2026-09-28; revised on 2026-11-03 to add the optional ranking feature (including typed names and name reports). That revision applies only to users who join the ranking and changes nothing else, so it took effect on the day it was posted.
